What it is
A desktop application in which a human traces, reviews, modifies and annotates an AI-run single-cell RNA-seq analysis. It is the successor of the SCRIB Shiny app and an AI-native tool: agents author and inspect analyses through its MCP server, CLI and installable skills, and every change they make is attributed and, against an open window, consent-gated. The GUI frame and node-tree system derive from CohortDAG. Milestone M1 (the frame: shell, node graph, validation, sessions, agent surfaces and the two-process scanpy/AnnData backend) was completed on 2026-10-05; executing analysis nodes arrives in M2. No package has been published yet.
Install for your agent
Follow the steps for your client, then run the self-check.
No Claude Code integration yet
This item doesn’t ship a configuration for Claude Code. No alternative client configuration is supplied here.
Agent integration (MCP server, CLI, skills) exists in the M1 frame; install payloads are published with the first packaged release.

Capabilities
Human decisions beside the AI's
Trace what an AI-run analysis did, change it, and annotate it; the human's decisions are recorded next to the agent's, so a reviewer can tell who decided what.
Agent surfaces with consent
An MCP server, a CLI and installable skills let agents author and inspect analyses. Every change an agent makes is attributed, and against an open window it is consent-gated.
Node graph with validation and sessions
The frame derives from CohortDAG: a validated node graph, saved sessions and a two-process scanpy/AnnData backend (front process and worker).
Know before you ask for it
- No package has been published; the download panel turns on when a release manifest exists for a platform.
- Executing analysis nodes is milestone M2 and is not in the M1 frame.
- No screenshots or measured example are shown: none have been captured from a packaged build.
- No price: Nexitia's right to license the tool is being documented before anything is sold (accounts plan ND16).
Releases & access
View changelog →- Available downloads
- No package has been published. The download panel checks each platform's release manifest and turns on when one exists.
- Who can download
- Downloads are entitlement-gated per product: a Tracyte entitlement is granted separately from CohortDAG, and nothing is sold until the rights are documented (accounts plan ND16).
- License by edition
- Source licence BSD 3-Clause (the repository's LICENSE names Ono Lab); no paid licence or price until Nexitia's rights are documented (ND16).
- Before you update
- Nothing to upgrade yet; update builds follow the first packaged release through the same gated panel.
